CAILLEACH'S SMOKE: This product is from the Cailleach's seasonal Winter line and our Smoke family of essential oil-dipped incenses.
Under an heirloom quilt by a crackling fire, no cold spirit can do us harm.
Quilt Square is a woody herbal incense that smells like fresh linens, a cozy warm room, and winter night air leaking in from a slightly open window. Two different redcedar oils combine with hints of clove bud and dry thyme to form a cedarwood fire note, and lavender joins in to evoke a heavy quilt keeping you and your loved ones so tucked in and safe. Peppermint and fir needle provide a cold draft that serves as a nice counterpoint to such a scene. Charged with magick that creates intimacy and a light heart, you may find yourself feeling a bit cuddly when burning this incense... or perhaps you'll just have sweet sugarplum dreams.
Our essential oil incense is made by soaking natural brown joss sticks (made with a tree bark) in a blend of aromatic essential oils and a few potent drops of our house-made working oils. It contains no other added chemicals or burning agents.
Ingredients: bamboo stick, joss bark powder [Litsea glutinosa], fir needle essential oil [Abies sibirica], redcedar juniper essential oil [Juniperus virginiana], clove bud essential oil [Syzygium aromaticum], lavender essential oil [Lavandula angustifolia], peppermint essential oil [Mentha piperita], thyme essential oil [Thymus zygis], sunflower oil [Helianthus annuus]
Each glass tube contains 20 7" scented joss sticks that burn for about 30-35 minutes each. Only burn in a well-ventilated environment. Please do not leave burning incense unattended.
Some essential oils (cedar, mint, etc.) have compounds that crystallize out of the oil when exposed to cold temperatures. This will make the sticks look frosty or sparkly. It can be wiped off with a dry cloth or burned as-is. It's like a little extra magickal whimsy!
