Cailleach's Smoke | Danu's Table Incense (Old Cedar + Fire Gatherings)

What I love about incense is the magick of its atmosphere. Scent is a powerful stimulator of memory and recall. How many times do we catch a whiff of an old house, an old flame, an old job? Incense is such a potent way to change the entire feeling of a space, ritual, or event.

That's exactly what Danu's Table is about: making our gatherings with others all the more bonding and heartwarming. Danu is the wife of the Dagda and the queen of the Tuatha De Danann, the ethereal people of the Otherworld. The Dagda was said to have a mystic cauldron that no one could walk away from unsatisfied... but where will you eat whatever comes out of it? And so the imagery of Danu's table by the hearth, feeding her beloved family, came to me.

Woody, cheery, and savory, this incense is charged with the magick of feasts and gatherings. Burn it when you want to draw loving visitors near and strengthen your bonds.

Ingredients: bamboo stick, joss bark powder, rosemary essential oil [Salvia rosmarinus], redcedar juniper essential oil [Juniperus virginiana], star anise essential oil [Illicium verum], thyme essential oil, benzoin resinoid [Styrax benzoin], sunflower oil

Each tube contains 20 7" scented joss sticks that burn for about 30-35 minutes each. Only burn in a well-ventilated environment. Please do not leave burning incense unattended.

Some essential oils (cedar, mint, etc.) have compounds that crystallize out of the oil when exposed to cold temperatures. This will make the sticks look frosty or sparkly. It can be wiped off with a dry cloth or burned as-is.
