Pomegranates have been cultivated for thousands of years. The large fruits are studded with dozens of deep red seeds that call to mind rubies and garnets. Originating from the Iranian plateau, they have spread through West and Central Asia and the shores of the Mediterranean... and now to your hands in the form of a lurid dark red beeswax candle!

Rich in symbolism and myth, pomegranates often carry associations with the fertility of the land and body, healing and protection, and the dead. Whether as an altar piece or the fixture of a ritual, you can call forth these cultural associations as they are relevant to your practice.

Hand-poured with local beeswax from Haw Creek Honey in Asheville and a candle-safe dye. Wonderful for love and fertility workings, ancestor veneration, healing, transformation, suffering and rebirth, and more. Anoint with your favorite ritual oil... or one of our Working Oils!

Usage : Trim wick to 1/4" before burning. Only burn on heat-safe plate or surface, and never leave burning unattended. Natural beeswax will have a light, honey-like smell when it burns.
