Áine's Smoke | Otherworld Incense (Woodland Mist + Faery Portals)

On the liminal edge of the end of winter and beginning of summer is Bealltainn, a fire festival that is often said to be one of the times where the veil between this world and the Otherworld are thinnest. Faeries and other spirits and creatures are about on Bealltainn Eve, and all kinds of magick are in the air as the year turns.

Otherworld is a mysterious and enticing blend that is hard to define. In one moment it is cool and watery, then woody, then bright, then deep and earthy... and always mystical. It's like a fairy just outside your frame of vision, darting in and out of sunlight and dappled shadow. Charged with magickal oils that enchant your words and inspirit your speech, it empowers the incantations you speak to make your will manifest.

Our essential oil incense is made by soaking natural brown joss sticks (made with a tree bark) in a blend of aromatic essential oils and a few potent drops of our house-made working oils. It contains no other added chemicals or burning agents.

Ingredients: bamboo stick, joss bark powder, lemon essential oil [Citrus × limon], redcedar juniper essential oil [Juniperus virginiana], peppermint essential oil [Mentha × piperita], bergamot essential oil [Citrus bergamia], grapefruit essential oil [Citrus × paradisi], spearmint essential oil [Mentha spicata] patchouli essential oil [Pogostemon cablin], sunflower oil

Each tube contains 20 7" scented joss sticks that burn for about 30-35 minutes each. Only burn in a well-ventilated environment. Please do not leave burning incense unattended.

Some essential oils (cedar, mint, etc.) have compounds that crystallize out of the oil when exposed to cold temperatures. This will make the sticks look frosty or sparkly. It can be wiped off with a dry cloth or burned as-is.
